Introduction
This page collects everything you'll need to find your person, build your project, ship it before the Friday 10 PM deadline, and demo it on Saturday. If something isn't here, ask in the #help channel on Discord. Organizers and mentors are there throughout the event and build week.
Tools and Technologies
Use any stack you like. Some popular starting points for first-time hackers:
- Web apps: Next.js, React, Vue, plain HTML/CSS/JS
- Mobile: React Native, Expo, Flutter
- Backend: Node.js, Python (Flask/FastAPI), Supabase, Firebase
- AI/ML APIs: Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Hugging Face
- Deployment: Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, Replit
- Design: Figma, Canva
- Version control: GitHub (required for submission)
Inspiration
The theme is "Build for Someone." The best projects start with a real human problem, not solely a cool technology.
